1. What if I am a member of a band that has submitted but also want to submit as part of another band or as a solo Artist?

This is allowed. You will need to create a separate Band Profile for each act you are part of and create separate uploads for the 3 songs, the video, photo, band bio, and other required entry information.

2. What type of gear will be provided at the venue?

A Front of House board, PA system with technician, microphone (with stands). No musical instruments (i.e. drum kit) or amplifiers will be provided. A covered stage with lighting will be provided as part of the concert at the Oakes Garden Theatre.

3. What type of expenses will be covered for the 28 Bands and 4 finalists that perform in the concert series?

YouDiscover.ca will not cover any expenses that are incurred for participating in the summer concert. We will happily connect the 28 bands with travel and accommodation options in Niagara Falls.

4. How long should the uploaded videos (both Band and Audience) be?

There is no physical limit to how long a video should be although we recommend keeping the size less than 500 MB (as it will take some time to upload depending on your internet connection). Shorter videos will get watched more and generate votes. The idea time is less than 2 minutes.

5. Are individual singer/song writers allowed to submit.

Absolutely yes!
